Following the digital transformation process that the Hospital has been going through we acquired new top-level technologies that equate us to world-class centers.
A new TRIMA V7.0.1 Apheresis System was incorporated into the Hemotherapy sector, which is a piece of equipment developed exclusively for donor care, being able to obtain a single hemocomponent as platelet concentrate or a combination of several already fractionated for example: platelet concentrate and plasma or platelet concentrate and red blood cell concentrate.
This equipment has state-of-the-art software which besides obtaining products with higher cell yields it has automated management of the extraction and return flow which makes the donation process more user-friendly. In this way it becomes an efficiency tool for our hospital scheme members and for donor loyalty.
At the same time, a Sterile Connector was incorporated into the sector, which is equipment that allows special procedures to be carried out on blood components, maintaining the closed circuit and therefore its sterility, which transforms it into a safety tool for our hospital scheme members.
This incorporation of new technologies increases our commitment to quality and excellence in the Hemotherapy Department.
